Best Way to Clean the Screens on Your Screened Patio or Porch

If you’ve been wondering what the quickest and best way is to clean those dirty screens on your screened in patio or porch, here’s a few tips.  Don’t worry, it’s easy and you’ll have your screens cleaned and your room ready to enjoy in no time.

 –  Items to make your clean-up quick and easy

      • Step stool if you need to reach up high
      • Garden hose
      • Bucket of warm water
      • Soft-bristled brush
      • Mild dish soap

 – Let’s Get Started

  1. Wet Screens with Hose – Make sure the hose nozzle is set on a light Shower-Like setting before getting started.  Do not use Jet spray setting.   From inside the porch, use a hose to rinse debris from each screen panel.  Direct the spray outward as you work your way across and down.
  2. Scrub with Soapy Water –  After hosing down the screens, use soapy water to spot-clean any areas that remain dirty or stained or to thoroughly clean the entire surface.  Dip a soft-bristled brush into the solution and gently scrub the inside or outside of the screen.
  3. Rinse Porch Screens Clean  – Once your porch screens are clean, rinse away any remaining cleaning solution with your hose.

LAST STEP:   Invite Friends over for Margaritas and fun!!!
